Since occupying my new role as Product Manager, I became reacquainted with a tool where I can eject brain dumps of ideas and organize them into tasks and lists. There are many ways people use Trello to organize their life, but for me it was the flexibility and ease of use that captured my interest. I actually use Trello like a digital whiteboard to jot down ideas to keep me on task. If you are the type of person that uses or used to use post-it notes, then you might have an interest in a much more flexible digital version of the post-it note!!
I know there are many tools and services available, but all have learning curves and have their own niche. The difference I found is that Trello presents it’s UI in a simplistic form while hiding the more advanced features. It’s very easy to just start using it and then change it, move it, or add advanced features without disrupting the time spent putting together a board with organized cards. I also like the sharing and collaboration features, as it’s easy to stay connected from all my devices.
I have found that Trello fills in a gap where Evernote didn’t satisfy for me. At any rate, check it out; it’s a great tool to envelop & develop your life around. https://trello.com/guide
